  1. I put a 1/2 inch of lemon juice in a glass with 2inches of water and in a couple of days it did away with the swelling and pain in my ankles. You take it every day.I asked my dr. how come he did not mention this and he said the PHARMACISTS,do not make no money on home remedys like tthese. The acid in the LEMON juice kills the ACID in your body is what happens. It sure beats PRESCRIPTIONS.

  2. Chuck Raucci, Jr. says

will the gout diets help me with it true to find out my problem is to have the fluid in my joints analyzed. my attacks are always in my right wrist, right ankla and left knee never in my big toe. right now I’m being treaded for gout at the “VA” and they put me on 400mg Allopurinal and Naproxen 250mg. everything that I check on the internet leads me to believe I have psuedogout! my next appointment is in January, should I have the Dr. take fluid from my joints.

  3. Gout and pseudogout are entirely different diseases with different causes. Uric acid has nothing to do with pseudogout, as pseudogout comes from calcium pyrophosphate dihydrate crystals, and not urate crystals. As far as I know, diet does not impact on pseudogout, although proponents of an alkaline diet would probably tell you otherwise!

I’m curious to know why you think you have pseudogout as opposed to gout.

A joint aspiration (fluid from the joint) would give you a definitive answer as to whether you have gout or not.
